This extension is a read-only tool that helps you find relevant jobs on your own Upwork account. This policy explains exactly what it does and does not do with your information. We designed it to keep your data on your own device.
The short version
- The extension runs entirely in your browser.
- It reads Upwork’s public job feed in a private, logged-out window and scores each job against filters you set. It is read-only — it never applies to jobs or acts on your behalf, and it adds nothing to Upwork’s pages.
- Your settings and your list of matched jobs are stored locally in your browser (
chrome.storage). They are never sent to us. - We collect no analytics, no telemetry, and no tracking data. We do not have a server that receives your data.
- The only time job data leaves your browser is if you turn on Telegram or Discord alerts and provide your own bot token / webhook — then a matched job’s title and link are sent to that service using your own credentials.
- No account or sign-in with us is required. We do not sell or share your data with anyone.
What the extension accesses, and why

Information we do NOT collect
- We do not collect your name, email, Upwork password, or Upwork account contents.
- We do not use analytics, advertising, fingerprinting, or third-party trackers.
- We do not operate a server that receives your browsing or job data.
- We do not sell, rent, or share your data.
Chrome permissions

Data retention
All data stays in your browser’s local storage until you remove it. Clearing the extension’s data, removing matched jobs, or uninstalling the extension deletes it. You can clear matched jobs anytime from the extension’s dashboard.
Children
This extension is a professional tool for Upwork freelancers and is not directed at children under 13.
Changes to this policy
If this policy changes, we will update the “Last updated” date above and, for material changes, note it on the extension’s Chrome Web Store listing.
